“We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way.” We hope you enjoy our memories. Love, Darrin Courtney Riley and Reece

Our trip to the NC Zoo
As many of you know, Riley loves to walk around making elephant and chicken sounds. Due to his love for animals and his big animal book, we decided to take him to the zoo. As you can see from these pictures, he was in complete amazement. The first animal he saw was the giraffe and his expression says it all. It took us about 3 hours to view Africa. From there we went back to the car and ate our picnic lunch. After lunch we headed for the N. America exhibit. Riley only stayed awake to see the cougar. I guess the excitement of Africa really wore him out. Enjoy the pictures.
